Job summary

NW Staffing LLC, dba Express Rx, is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee the retail pharmacy operations, especially when the PIC is not present. You will supervise staff, process prescriptions, and engage with patients to ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, national certification, state license, and immunization certification a plus; experience in a retail setting and strong focus on patient care and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records of all prescription transactions and submits appropriate claims for third-party reimbursement.
• Consults with physicians and nurses regarding pharmaceutical questions; advises physicians on formulary medications and cost-effective therapies.
• Answers pharmaceutical questions from patients and staff; monitors storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals.
• Provides training, assigns duties, and provides input for performance evaluations.
• Documents and reports medication errors to direct supervisor.
