Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is hiring a Retail Pharmacy Supervisor based on the South Lake Union campus in Seattle. You will supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient medication services while leading continuous quality improvements.

The role requires a PharmD, WA license, and several years of supervisory pharmacy experience. It offers full-time hours, on-site work, and comprehensive benefits with a strong focus on patient safety and service

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• WA Pharmacist license in good standing.
• 4 years as Pharmacist or 2 years in lead/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership and staff development ability.
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and workflow oversight for pharmacists, technicians, and staff.
• Hire, train, coach, develop, and evaluate pharmacy personnel.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and SOPs for safe practice.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
• Lead quality assurance and medication safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet departmental goals.
• Oversee staffing, inventory management, and distribution operations.
• Direct pharmacist duties as needed to maintain operations.
