Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee seeks a licensed pharmacist to oversee pharmacotherapeutic care, counsel patients, and supervise teammates. You will review medication orders, participate in safety initiatives, and help ensure compliant, high-quality pharmacy services.

The role requires a Doctorate or PharmD, ACPE accreditation, and strong communication and clinical skills to support patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in practice state or eligible for reciprocity
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy; ACPE accreditation or NABP FPGEC certificate

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients and caregivers.
• Designs and evaluates patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on biomedical literature.
• Mentors and trains pharmacy teammates and students as assigned.
• Ensures safe medication workflows and regulatory compliance.
• Prepares, dispenses, and stores medications per state/federal regulations.
