• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required depending on area of practice

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs pharmacotherapeutic regimens
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy and safety
• Interprets medication orders and prescriptions
• Participates in medical emergencies and quality improvement activities
