Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I. The program includes a 4–8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification for the Retail Personal Banker role.

The position uses a consultative sales process to meet customer financial needs, expand relationships, and cross-sell bank products across Financial Centers and Bank Marts. A college degree or equivalent experience is required, and S.A.F.E. Act/NMLS registration is required at hire.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferrable skills or equivalent.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and recommend solutions.
• Cross-sell products and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Support opening/closing of Financial Center or Bank Mart as needed.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referral processes.
