Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking candidates for a Retail Personal Banker I role. Selected individuals will enter a 4-8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification for the Retail Personal Banker job family.

The role combines teller duties with proactive customer engagement and cross-selling in Financial Centers or Bank Marts. The position emphasizes risk awareness, adherence to policies, and delivering a positive customer experience while

Qualifications

Experience in the financial industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumers or cross-sell.
Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for credit/financial analysis.
Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in appearance and communication.
Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs.
Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for reviews.
Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
Build relationships with Business Partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals; drive revenue growth.
