Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in The Villages, FL is seeking a Personal Banker Associate I to begin with a 4–8 week onboarding program including rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role emphasizes consultative selling to meet customer needs and grow relationships, with teller duties and platform team support.

Selected candidates will progress to Retail Personal Banker I after training, with expectations to acquire new households and deepen existing relationships while adhering to policy and risk

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify needs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
• Utilize CAMP and approved tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities per direction.
• Establish relationships with internal partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial) for referrals.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals while managing risk and fiduciary responsibilities.
