Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I in Cincinnati, OH, after an onboarding program and rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on consultative selling, gathering financial profiles, and meeting customer needs through Retail banking products.

You'll work with cross-functional partners, manage teller duties, and participate in a training program designed to certify you for the Retail Personal Banker family.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial information.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
• Demonstrated ability to develop working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment via NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profile and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Use approved Marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customer base and participate in outside sales activities as directed.
• Establish relationships with Business Partners and refer customers for comprehensive solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and contribute to revenue growth.
