Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Retail Sales Support Intern to gain real-world experience at the intersection of analytics, sales strategy, customer experience, and retail banking operations.

You will work with the Retail Performance Analytics Manager, Retail Sales Analyst, and Director of Retail Sales Strategy to analyze performance, support strategic initiatives, track key metrics, and help drive results across the branch network.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills; primary tool used in this role.
• Intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and data-oriented mindset.
• Ability to understand, organize, and interpret business information.

Responsibilities

• Support data retrieval, data entry, and analysis used to generate monthly sales and service reports.
• Collaborate in testing and evaluating new core system reporting and related performance tools.
• Process department invoices and provide administrative support as needed.
• Prepare monthly Branch Sales Reports for District Branch Sales meetings.
• Help coordinate orders for personalized branch-related supplies.
• Support management of the Customer Experience database and ensure timely follow-up of cases.
• Assist with Sales and Customer Experience campaign reporting and weekly performance updates.
• Create presentation materials, dashboards, and reporting summaries for leadership meetings and bank-wide projects.
• Assist in consolidation and preparation of quarterly retail incentive reporting.
• Participate in collaborative summer projects.
