Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior undergraduate student or MBA/MS student pursuing a quantitative field.
• Pursuing a major such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data querying concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze portfolio performance and risk characteristics across lending portfolios.
• Support loan loss modeling and portfolio stress-testing initiatives.
• Validate and review data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Create and enhance dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Develop and execute data queries to support reporting and analysis efforts.
• Assist in the preparation of risk reports, presentations, and executive-level materials.
• Research trends in portfolio performance, asset quality, and credit risk.
• Collaborate with team members on projects that improve data insights and risk management processes.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on summer projects
