Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build relationships with local retailers, drive program awareness, and support business growth across your territory in Market - AMRET - MO - Kansas City.

This field-based role requires a vehicle, annual travel within the territory, and a Monday–Friday schedule. You will visit retailers, educate merchants on the client’s programs, and ensure a positive customer experience at each location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain POS materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations.
