Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is hiring a Customer Service Specialist at Store #2037, 114 Goose Creek Blvd S, Goose Creek, SC 29445. This full-time role focuses on helping wholesale and retail customers, recommending products and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting store sales goals.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a track record in customer service and basic handling of cash. Training is provided to stay up-to-date with product features and store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have at least a “meets expectations” rating.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
