Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support shipping and receiving, inventory control, and merchandising to enhance the in-store customer experience.

The role requires collaboration with store teams to ensure accuracy and presentation. Candidates should have basic Microsoft Office skills, be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work weekends/holidays/evenings, and thrive in a loud retail setting.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution)
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP)
• Cash Handling
• Shrink awareness and control
• Additional duties as assigned
