PetSmart in Oklahoma City is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to drive store performance, merchandising, inventory, and pet care operations while leading a team.

You will open/close the store, manage expenses, and uphold the company’s vision and standards, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pets and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership or experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a visually appealing store layout.

Responsibilities

• Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and coaching decisions.
• Supports associate development through training, onboarding, and reviews.
• Addresses complaints and grievances and guides performance.
• Delegates tasks and ensures daily objectives are met.
• Coaches staff on operational processes to keep pets safe and healthy.
• Coordinates staffing coverage for core store activities.
• Ensures communication of priorities and engagement with the team.
• Maintains store standards and compliance with policies and ethics.
• Oversees healthcare and welfare of store pets and inventory processes.
