PetSmart is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to drive operational excellence in our stores. This role oversees merchandising, inventory management, pet care operations, opening/closing routines, and leadership of store associates to meet financial goals while upholding our values and standards.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering a safe, engaging, and well-organized store environment for pets, parents, and teammates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership or experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure with composure; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach store associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory, pricing, and store standards.
• Manage staffing coverage and daily task delegation.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales, shrink control, and P&L performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership to continuously improve guest experience.
