Job summary

Brook Valley Thrift Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily store operations. You will supervise staff, open/close the store, and serve as the keyholder on duty while ensuring outstanding customer service and clean, organized merchandising.

You will train and mentor associates, address team challenges, and promote a positive work environment. Strong English communication and 2+ years of retail experience with supervisory exposure are required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience with at least 2 years is implied by the role, including supervisory duties.
• Strong written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to lead and mentor associates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and supervise staff, open/close, and act as keyholder.
• Train and mentor associates; promote exceptional customer service.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and petty cash reconciliation.
• Maintain merchandising, cleanliness, and overall store appearance.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team atmosphere and resolve concerns promptly.
