Job summary

Belk, Inc. & Belk eCommerce LLC. is seeking an Operations Team Lead to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by accurately receiving inbound deliveries and preparing outbound shipments.

This on-site role guides the team, replenishes store supplies, and maintains store facilities to achieve operational excellence. The position operates hourly with monthly bonus eligibility, requiring strong leadership, customer service, and organization across back-of-house and front-of-store

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience or customer service background.
• Ability to lead a team and drive store objectives.
• Strong communication and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives.
• Execute store shipment deliveries and lead the team in processing product efficiently.
• Maintain back-of-house organization and equipment for operational efficiency.
• Communicate daily goals and tasks; plan and schedule operational work.
• Lead inventory accuracy, perform transfers, and process damaged items promptly.
• Support facilities processes including lighting, maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Foster team learning, onboard teammates, and celebrate successes.
