Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate to help customers confidently find products and enjoy a premier shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist athletes, and work with teammates to meet brand standards.

This role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and efficient store operations, including merchandising, freight processing, and supporting the team across shifts. Retail experience is preferred; ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking and at heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers and proactively understand needs.
• Ensure merchandise and product received is processed; backroom organized with Freight Flow/Operations Lead.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with unloading trucks, processing freight, transfers, RTVS, claims and freight processing.
• Meet the company-defined customer experience standards through service level procedures.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOP policies; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Support the team with an all-hands-on-deck approach across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
