DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate to help create an exceptional shopping experience for athletes and customers. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and ensure merchandise is processed and stocked according to procedures.

The role supports backroom organization and freight handling while upholding brand standards. Our team emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers, proactively approaching athletes to understand their needs and assist their shopping experience.
• Process merchandise and ensure backroom organization for easy access in partnership with the Freight Flow/Operations Lead.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with unloading trucks, processing freight, transfers, RTVs, claims and freight processing.
• Fulfill customer experience standards by following service level procedures.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe and respected.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
