Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience through store operations. This early morning role collaborates with teammates to complete tasks before opening, including assisting customers, adjusting prices and signage, restocking, and unloading merchandise.

You will support omnichannel initiatives and follow merchandising plans to ensure the customer always finds the right styles and sizes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: assist customers and answer questions with friendliness and speed.
• Executes pricing and signing across the store to keep signs accurate.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to ensure desired sizes and styles are available.
• Receive and unload merchandise with team members and organize backroom stock.
• Maintain backroom standards for safety and organization.
• Contribute to Omnichannel efforts (BOPIS, Ship from Store, Returns, etc.).
• Implement merchandising plans and ensure standards are followed for optimal customer experience.
