The Manager in Training at Hibbett Retail, Inc. Baton Rouge location supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, customer service, inventory and merchandising. You will learn all product areas, promote sales, and act as a Store Manager in their absence, ensuring policies are followed and goals are met.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training teammates, managing schedules, and delivering a standout customer experience that builds loyalty.

Qualificações

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet store goals/profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Cover Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Uphold customer service standards as per manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
• Follow all company policies and control procedures.
