Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training to support store operations in Bossier City. You will assist in selling, restocking, merchandising, and scheduling while acting as a store leader in the absence of the Store Manager.

You will promote extraordinary customer service and merchandise, using the company policies and manuals to guide decisions. This role requires initiative, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Is a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Establish action plans to accomplish departmental and store responsibilities such as selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Lead in the Store Manager’s absence and train team members.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory movement, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Ensure safety and quality customer service per manuals and policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise; uphold all company policies.
