PetSmart’s Process Leader (Retail Operations Manager) has shared responsibility to drive operational excellence in our stores while upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. This role is accountable for merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, opening and/or closing the store, leading associates, financial outcomes and maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Full-time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure with composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store associates and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory management, and pricing processes.
• Ensure health and safety of store pets and customers.
• Open and/or close the store and manage daily financial outcomes.
• Maintain store standards and prevent shrink through controls.
• Collaborate with Home Office and manage store-related tasks and reporting.
