This role is responsible for merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, opening and/or closing the store, overseeing associates, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide sales associates in merchandise handling and presentation.
• Train onboarding, mentoring, and coaching for growth; provide performance feedback.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks.
• Lead the store when on duty and supervise associates.
• Address associate complaints and maintain engagement.
• Execute merchandising strategies, stock replenishment, and promotions.
• Manage inventory, audits, and stock discrepancies.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash per policy.
• Ensure store standards and ethical compliance.
• Assist with open/close procedures and cycle counts.
