Job summary

Crate & Barrel – Bellevue, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Operations to drive efficient store operations, back-of-house excellence, and a seamless customer experience. You will oversee receiving, inventory, fulfillment, scheduling, expenses, and store technology while leading training and onboarding for all associates.

You will partner with the Store Leader to mentor a team, execute financial audits, and pursue continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the Store Leader, manage workload and ensure execution of plans across the store and in the assigned area.
• Align with the management team on store goals and initiatives to all associates.
• Establish and communicate critical metrics and expectations within the store, including sales, operations, safety, and training.
• Analyze reporting daily/weekly/monthly and prepare information related to sales, productivity, and budget for higher levels.
• Promote and drive sales as Leader on Duty (LOD).
• Communicate with the management team about sales, customer feedback, and associate performance; participate in weekly walk-throughs.
• Collaborate with direct reports to enhance customer experience and teamwork safely and efficiently.
• Coach, train, and develop all store associates for growth and bench strength.
• Ensure gracious, quick, and efficient customer service; set expectations and model positive energy.
• Other duties as assigned.
