Job summary

Ulta Beauty seeks an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive top-line sales growth while managing store operations, inventory life cycle, and planograms. The OM will oversee Task Associates and the Merchandise Manager, focusing on performance, people, and process to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years in retail management, with strong leadership, analytics, and development skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2–3+ years of retail management experience.
Experience driving top-line sales, payroll budgets, and expense control.
Proven ability to manage inventory and merchandising directives.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the store team to achieve sales, guest loyalty, payroll and inventory goals.
Drive profitability through operational excellence and cost control.
Schedule staffing using forecast data and communicate needs to store leadership.
Provide coaching, feedback, and development plans to associates.
Ensure compliance with policies, dress code, and store procedures.
Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations as needed.
Maintain attendance discipline and coach teams to meet attendance policies.
