Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team, drive top-line sales growth, and manage store operations, including planograms and inventory cycles. The role emphasizes people development, process excellence, and a guest-focused sales environment.

The OM will oversee staffing, training, and performance management while ensuring compliance with policies and standards to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of fast-paced, retail management or related work experience.
• Financial management: drive top-line sales, interpret reporting data, manage payroll budgets, and control expenses.
• Leadership: attract, develop, and motivate top talent, and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage forecasts and payroll budgets to optimize store schedules and productivity.
• Review financial and operational reporting, including audits and store visits.
• Lead guest engagement and product demonstrations to drive sales and service quality.
• Maintain attendance and enforce Ulta Beauty attendance policy.
