Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist in merchandising, inventory management, and staff supervision while ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail customer service, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead when the Store Manager is away. This position is hourly and located on-site at the Orlando store.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience in retail.
• Experience in footwear or athletic apparel preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Act as Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers.
• Ensure profitability by monitoring inventory, sales, and expenses.
• Supervise staff in the absence of Store Manager.
