Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in all store operations, ensure outstanding customer service, and execute merchandising and administrative duties.

This role requires supervising staff in the Store Manager’s absence, assisting with recruiting, training, and scheduling, and promoting merchandise while upholding company policies. The position is non-exempt, hourly, and reports to Store Manager; candidates should have 1–3 years in retail

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• Strong customer-service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.

Mansioni

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager in establishing action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
