Job summary

Whistle Workwear of Tacoma, Llc in Shoreline, WA is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to support store leadership, supervise staff, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will help with opening/closing, deposits, stock, customer service, and merchandising while delivering excellent service and maintaining a clean, professional environment.

This full-time role requires night and weekend availability, a high school diploma, 2 years retail experience, and a valid driver's license;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Previous assistant management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license required; bilingual skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store staff and support employee training activities.
• Work alternating shifts with the Store Manager to support daily operations.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by store leadership.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Prepare and manage daily bank deposits, including bank drop-offs.
• Obtain change for store operations when needed.
• Receive, organize, and process incoming merchandise shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Process customer purchases accurately in accordance with company procedures.
• Welcome customers, answer incoming calls, and provide assistance as needed.
• Support customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
