Whistle Workwear of Tacoma, Llc is hiring an Assistant Retail Operations Manager in Shoreline, WA. This full-time role requires availability Nights and Weekends, with hourly compensation and duties across daily store operations.

You will supervise staff, train employees, handle banking tasks, process shipments, and assist customers with purchases while maintaining a clean, professional store environment. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work varied shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years retail experience.
• Experience as assistant manager or in leadership is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license; bilingual skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store staff and support employee training activities.
• Work alternating shifts with Store Manager to support daily operations.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by store leadership.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Prepare and manage daily bank deposits, including bank drop-offs.
• Obtain change for store operations when needed.
• Receive, organize, and process incoming merchandise shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Process customer purchases accurately per company procedures.
• Greet customers, answer calls, and provide assistance as needed.
• Help customers locate products and assist in purchasing decisions.

What You’ll Need
