Job summary

Whistle Workwear in Shoreline, WA is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to join our team. This full-time role requires availability nights and weekends with compensation from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour (DOE).

The position reports to store leadership and includes training support, opening/closing duties, and daily cash handling. You will supervise staff, assist with operations, process deliveries, and help customers find products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Previous assistant management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help supervise store staff and support employee training activities.
• Work alternating shifts with the Store Manager to support daily operations.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by store leadership.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Prepare and manage daily bank deposits, including bank drop-offs.
• Obtain change for store operations when needed.
• Receive, organize, and process incoming merchandise shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Process customer purchases accurately in accordance with company procedures.
• Welcome customers, answer incoming calls, and provide assistance as needed.
• Support customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
