Job summary

PetSmart's Retail Operations Lead leads in-store operations to ensure an exceptional shopping experience. You will oversee merchandising, inventory, pet care operations, and opening/closing duties, while guiding associates and upholding store standards.

You will support training, feedback, and performance; manage daily tasks and customer service excellence; and partner with leadership to drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail supervisory experience.
• Full-time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and visual merchandising skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train sales associates in product knowledge and presentation.
• Oversee daily tasks and leadership on duty responsibilities.
• Manage merchandise strategies, placement, and promotions.
• Monitor inventory, perform regular audits, and address discrepancies.
• Operate POS and handle cash in line with policies.
• Maintain store standards and uphold Policies and Procedures.
