Qualifications

• 2+ years retail supervisory experience.
• Full-time availability with evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train sales associates in product knowledge and presentation.
• Support associate development, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks; act as Leader on Duty when needed.
• Execute merchandise strategies to optimize sales, product placement, displays, and promotions.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and analyze sales trends for stock decisions.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash with accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintain store standards and reinforce Policies, Procedures, and ethics.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and monthly cycle counts.
• Ensure pet care standards and a safe, healthy environment for pets and customers.
