Job summary

PetSmart’s Process Lead role focuses on driving operational excellence, merchandising and inventory management, and pet care operations. You will open/close the store, oversee associates, and maintain a safe, organized environment to deliver a positive pet-parent experience.

The position requires at least 2+ years in retail supervision, full-time availability, and strong communication and organizational skills to lead a busy store effectively.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a visually appealing store layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support sales associates in merchandise handling and product presentation.
• Develop the associate experience through training, onboarding, and coaching for growth.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks and duties.
• Direct associates as Leader on duty and address grievances.
• Ensure store merchandising, inventory, and checkout accuracy and efficiency.
