Job summary

Reformation in New York seeks an Assistant Store Manager of Retail Operations to execute store processes, manage budgets, and provide clear reporting. This hands-on, big-picture role works with store and HQ leaders.

You will drive efficiencies, train staff, monitor inventory, and ensure loss prevention standards while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver the brand's growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in retail operations and retail management
• Experience working with a sales or retail organization and/or operationally intensive business
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to set the standard for operational efficiency, adhering to processes and systems to maximize team and business results
• Motivated to get results, and maintain the most accurate inventory possible.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google
• The skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
• High attention to detail, a proactive sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to train, coach, and lead by example and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
• Strategic problem solver - assess the situation, identify opportunities, dependably execute

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross functional teams to ensure execution of applicable policies, procedures, and updates
• Implements, maintains and continuously manages suitable tools and metrics to support project effectiveness while aligning with the growing and scaling needs of Reformation
• Executes and maintains business processes, best practices, and other documentation
• Interfaces regularly with key cross-functional partners to solicit, evaluate and filter feedback to ensure teams’ perspectives and needs are included in decision-making
• Develops compelling, insightful recommendations through data, analysis and qualitative learning
• Performs ad hoc analysis and business operations reporting
• Supports budget management and reporting for store location
• Identifies and prioritizes the company’s strategic initiatives and serves as change agent
• Partners with Store Manager and Corporate Field Leaders to develop framework for tackling complex business problems, and works to achieve critical business goals
• Continually improve operational systems, processes and policies - support better management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and supervise all finished goods inventory moves and transfers including allocations/receiving, inventory adjustments, RTVs, damages/defects.
• Run variance reports, audits, and support annual physical inventories
• Oversee regular inventory counts; monitor and assist with monthly cycle counts and inventory reconciliations in stores
• Help teams meet shrink goals by executing Loss Prevention standards, and conducting Loss Prevention awareness training
• Maintain a Retail Operations training guide
• Provide digital and on-site training as needed to maintain efficient and knowledgeable operations competencies in store
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from retail, DC, and corporate teams
• Complete weekly and monthly inventory reporting
• Track operational metric performance on a weekly basis to ensure SLA compliance
