Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support stock movement, inventory control, and in-store merchandising.

You will help with shipping/receiving, stock counts, signage, cash handling, and loss prevention to enhance the customer shopping experience. The role requires basic Microsoft Office skills, ability to work in a loud store environment, and availability on weekends/holidays/evenings.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to work in a loud environment and on weekends/holidays/evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
