Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is seeking an Operations Associate to support store profitability and guest experience. You will handle shipping and receiving, inventory control, and merchandising to planograms, ensuring stock is accurately reflected and presented.

This role requires reliability in a fast-paced retail environment, weekend availability, and basic Microsoft Office skills. You will contribute to shrink control, signage, and price signage to help customers find gear quickly.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution)
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP)
• Shrink awareness and control
• Additional duties as assigned
