Job summary

RIMOWA in New York's Madison Flagship is seeking a Retail Support Associate to assist the store team with daily operations and smooth workflows. You will help manage shipments, prepare paperwork, support inventory counts and product placement, and assist client advisors on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong communication, capable of basic luggage repairs, and comfortable working varied hours including nights and weekends to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Detail oriented and task focused with strong communication.
• Excellent problem-solving and team interaction skills.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with operational duties to boost productivity.
• Monitor shipments and follow up on discrepancies.
• Support year-end inventory counts and preparation.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and determine shipping methods.
• Keep stock areas neat and orderly per standards.
• Perform basic luggage repairs with hand tools as needed.
• Count boxes and compare with bills of lading; report variances.
• Assist selling floor with product placement and stock recovery.
• Complete transfer forms and receive merchandise to floor.
• Ensure cash wraps are stocked with supplies for operations.
• Track and place all paid goods; perform deliveries as requested.
• Assist client advisors on the sales floor as needed.
• Use R-client to connect with clients about repairs or new products.
• Handle new projects as required by management.
