Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Office Manager to oversee money flow, process customer transactions, and lead office staff. You will ensure accurate cash handling, conduct daily audits, and support store operations with a strong focus on customer service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, plus certifications as applicable for HIPAA, AML, and state regulations. This is a full-time on-site position in Longview, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two or more years of related experience required.
• HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification within 2 weeks of starting in role where applicable.
• AML certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees money flow in and out of store and processes customer transactions for products or services sold in office.
• Provides leadership of office personnel and promotes customer service by assisting with locating products, conducting price verifications, and providing efficient check out services.
• Maintains compliance with AML and other government money regulations by reviewing money orders, check cashing, and Western Union activities.
• Conducts daily office audits, prepares and verifies bank deposit records, and runs reports as needed.
• Balances cash drawers and safe funds, and reports discrepancies to Store Director.
• Coordinates with retail support to resolve office-related issues and maintains office records.
• Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws regarding sales of restricted items.
