Job summary

Truist in Memphis, TN seeks a Mortgage Loan Sales Specialist responsible for marketing and selling Truist Mortgage loan products, while guiding clients to bank services and referrals. You will align with policies and drive referral opportunities to deepen client relationships.

The role requires at least 1 year in banking or lending, strong communication, and compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing. Travel up to 75% may be involved, with broad responsibilities across advisory and coordination

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in banking/lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to network and build client relationships.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications and banking software.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days and background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, and investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
• Utilize referral processes to deepen client relationships across bank solutions.
• Assist with client/document follow-up during fulfillment and post-closing review.
