Job summary

The Marshalls store at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an energetic team member to support receiving, merchandising and customer service. You will help keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and inviting, while training others to uphold standards.

Eligible candidates bring retail experience, strong communication and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The role offers weekend shifts and a competitive hourly wage with benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to train others.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise for the sales floor.
• Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Monitor productivity and coach the team as needed.
• Maintain backroom organization, cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Promote safety and adhere to labor laws and store policies.
