Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising execution and operational excellence in Shawnee, KS. The role focuses on truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing integrity, and promotional execution to ensure a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead workload planning, partner with leadership to align staffing, and manage in-stock optimization to maximize sales and shrink reduction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead SOP adherence and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, standards, and store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain backroom organization and a customer-ready environment.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time.
