Job summary

Ulta Beauty, a leading beauty retailer, seeks a Merchandise Manager to lead a store team and drive top-line sales. You will manage payroll, oversee shipments, replenishment, omni-channel activities, price changes, and markdowns, while ensuring operational excellence and policy adherence.

You will develop talent, coach associates, and collaborate with the Operations Manager to maximize guest experience and financial results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or equivalent work experience.
• Financial management: drive top-line sales, interpret reporting, manage payroll budgets.
• Retail management: monitor inventory, achieve operations excellence, drive service culture.
• Leadership: attract, develop, and motivate a team and lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals across retail and service sales.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and expense control.
• Use forecasts and budgets to plan scheduling and payroll within limits.
• Lead training, coaching, and development of associates.
• Oversee shipments, replenishment, omni-channel, pricing, and markdowns.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and standards; maintain loss prevention.
