Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, drive top-line sales growth, and coach a team through daily challenges. You will oversee shipments, replenishment, omni-channel activities, pricing changes, and markdowns while maintaining strong guest service standards.

You will guide a team of Task Associates, deliver training, and ensure operational excellence across performance, people, and process to achieve store goals and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or related experience.
• Experience driving sales, payroll budgets, and expense control.
• Experience developing teams and coaching through change.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals for sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operating excellence and top-line growth.
• Schedule and manage payroll within budget; optimize workload distribution.
• Review financial and operational reports and act on insights and audits.
• Lead by example with training and development, brand standards, and guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with policies, dress code, and store tasks; manage inventory controls.
