Job summary

Michaels in Edgewater, NJ seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through workload planning, inventory control, and staff development. Manage SOP adherence, Ship from Store, RTV/ASN processes, and shrink reduction with a strong team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise up to 25-50 pounds.
• Work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws.
• Ensure execution of policies, standards, and accountability across the team.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to align staffing with business needs.
• Run SISO routines to maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution.
• Manage Ship from Store fulfillment and ASN/ RTV processes.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Support asset protection and shrink reduction initiatives.
