The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, stock routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will lead pricing accuracy, promotional execution, and an organized, customer-ready environment while planning workload, aligning staffing with business needs, and coaching team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Lead and manage SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, uphold store conditions and results.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Manage in-store inventory accuracy and replenishment processes.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Handle pricing changes and promotional signage for compliance.
• Oversee Ship from Store and RTV/ASN processing.
• Support shrink reduction with Asset Protection practices.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and coaching.
