Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a customer-focused team member for our HomeGoods store in Indianapolis.

You will deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with shoppers, maintaining a clean store, and adhering to operational standards. You will support a positive store culture through integrity and teamwork, assist with merchandising and POS transactions, and participate in loss prevention and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and follows procedures.
• Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company standards.
• Participates in store recovery and maintains cleanliness and organization across the sales floor.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
