Job summary

Total Wine & More in Alamogordo, NM is seeking a Merchandiser to maximize inventory, stock displays, and support online orders. You will greet customers, guide them to products, and participate in training to grow product knowledge across wine, spirits, and beer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures.
