Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring a Store Team Member in Peoria, AZ to deliver an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. The role focuses on processing donated merchandise for sale across GCNA stores, including pricing, tagging, and stocking.

Ideal candidates speak English, are at least 18, and can pass a background check and drug screen. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with a comprehensive Total Rewards package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, meets minimum quota, item per Gaylord, and sell thru set for assigned department.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguards company property, including donated goods. Reports any incidents of theft, pre-selection, misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
• Maintains sales floor and work station by following floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate area as assigned.
• Must exercise appropriate judgment and observation to inform leader of any potentially hazardous materials found while processing merchandise.
• Complies with safety rules and uses safety equipment; reports hazards.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; ability to lift, bend, push, turn, and manipulate items.

• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
